
Encrypt your home devices
Turn on encryption on all your devices to keep your information secure — especially in the event of loss or theft. Encryption ensures that even if someone gains physical access to your device, your data remains unreadable.
Turn on BitLocker in Windows, or KeyVault on your Mac.
On your mobile device, always use a strong alphanumeric passcode rather than a simple PIN.

Keep passwords out of browsers
Keep your passwords out of web browsers – These vaults are not secure.
Use an enterprise manager inside work (Keeper), or outside of work consider one of the following options:
- Keeper
- NordPass
- 1Password
- BitWarden
- Dashlane
- Keepass
- RoboForm
Don’t forget to set a strong, unique password for your master password (The password you use to login to your vault), and enable Multi-Factor Authentication.
