Our client is a multinational financial and actuarial modelling platform specialist with offices across Africa, Europe and Australia. It works in a heavily regulated industry and partners with global names, including some FTSE listed entities. Over a few short years, the business has grown from a team of 20 people to a global organisation with more than 80 staff. Throughout its upward journey, it has required a digital partner to provide expertise, innovation and continuity to seamlessly grow its IT capabilities and harden security.

Intersys has worked with this client for almost a decade, providing strategic advice and developing its IT and security infrastructure. Because the company has expanded quickly – in terms of size and geographical reach – we advised a move from server-based infrastructure to MS 365 Cloud. Achieved quickly with zero business interruption, this made collaboration smoother across regions and helped ensure more robust data protection.

A mature cyber security setup has complemented this IT expansion. We integrated advanced security operations centre (SOC) monitoring tools and also designed a secure and robust document management environment in SharePoint. We also supported our client in achieving ISO 27001 certification and Cyber Essentials.
