The Boleyn Trust consists of eight primary schools across the East London borough of Newham. Our initial engagement focused on hardening their MS 365 environment following cyber security concerns.
However, our attentiveness, on-site availability and ability to offer comprehensive IT and cyber security services, have led to the delivery of many further projects and, ultimately, our ongoing role as an MSP.
As part of our initial project delivery, we hardened our client’s existing Microsoft 365 and provided detailed cyber security awareness training for employees. This was completed in 2022.
Our hands-on approach – including frequent meetings, consultancy and fielding staff questions about email security – led to our leading many other projects.
Following the creation of a digital development proposal, we worked on a large project that included:
During this project, we helped the Trust move from expensive business MS 365 licenses to discounted A3 licenses.
As the interim IT provider, we were asked by the Trust to create an MSP Requirements scoping document, to help them recruit an ongoing provider. We maintained our role as MSP in the interim and, ultimately, due to our high service standards, continue as the Trust’s MSP.
As well as providing IT support for the schools, we have also created white-label guidance on IT best practice and provide consultancy on risk management, software development, data analytics and visualisation.
Our attentive service has led to a close relationship with the Trust’s IT team. We are always available for site visits and last-minute Teams calls, and have become the extra pair of hands for the in-house team.
We continue to hold weekly meetings to discuss issues across all schools and undertake regular site visits.
According to the client, Intersys has been a ‘vital extension’ to the internal IT team, supporting them across numerous IT and cyber security projects, including strategic road mapping.
We have been described as ‘invaluable’ for long-term planning and our ‘exceptional’ managed service support has provided peace of mind that IT systems are in safe hands.
Ultimately, our deeply committed approach has been described as ‘transformative’ – delivering better, safer IT for the running of the Trust.
