When Dixons decided to run an internal audit of their existing Business Continuity Management Framework, they turned to one of our subject matter experts for help.
Dixons already had a solid business continuity plan, so our first task was to make sure we had a thorough understanding of their existing framework, as well as the company’s structure, culture and operations.
Then, using our insights from working with other organisations across a wide variety of sectors, we mapped their existing framework against best practice. We made sure to clearly articulate where their existing framework was already the best approach, and where there were opportunities to improve.
In November 2018 Catherine partnered with us to provide subject matter expertise for an internal audit of our Business Continuity Management framework.
Catherine is extremely organised, professional and pragmatic and gave us well-informed opinions that helped shape our planning and deliver a clear view of our current framework, as well as practical suggestions for improvements and a clear roadmap to implement these.
