Why Do I Need DMARC Compliance?

Domain-Based Message Authentication, Reporting and Compliance (DMARC) is a security check that allows only emails from a legitimate source to be delivered. Not only does it block inauthentic emails, it also gives your business full visibility and control over all emails claiming to be from your organisation.

It has become the first line of defence against what’s known as email spoofing, where criminals impersonate an employee – often a senior leader – for criminal ends. 3.4bn malicious emails are sent every day. This is a tsunami of phishing criminality that deceives employees and sweeps away businesses’ reputations and profits.

What Can Happen Without DMARC Compliance?

  • Reputational damage: a criminal impersonates you and sends emails out to scores of trusted customers, who now think twice about working with you again.
